Tallu-lah's tale

What’s a girl to do when she’s on vacation and happens on brilliant inspiration? If you’re Danielle Spinetta Gibson, you grab a stylish notepad from your stylish handbag (you’d never be without either), think up some prototypes, and send it to production. Done.

Danielle is that rare artistic person who has great design savvy and business savvy all in the same head. She appreciates both a beautifully executed letterpress card and a beautifully executed logistics spreadsheet. She always gets it done, on time, and with such meticulously chic style, she could create a company around it.

That’s just what she did in 2002. Her simply sophisticated Tallu-lah greeting cards, letterpressed on exquisite Italian papers, were an instant hit (because she planned it that way). You can find Tallu-lah gracing tasteful boutiques across the country. In addition, Tallu-lah designs exclusive collections for Wedding Paper Divas and TinyPrints.

Before starting Tallu-lah, Danielle refined her keen business sense as Manager of both multi-million dollar Gap Inc. stores and Store Communications for Old Navy. She followed her paper obsession to Union Street Papery in San Francisco as the store’s manager, where she polished her retail and wholesale expertise more handily than most girls polish their nails.

While she pursues her passion with Tallu-lah, she also owns Danielle Gibson Events, because she found a few extra hours in the day. Danielle lives in Napa Valley, California, a beautiful grape growing area overflowing with vineyards, tasting rooms, tourists and good karma.
